Miven Donato, DPT, DC
Dr. Donato is director of Dolphin Health & Education Center. He is a licensed physical therapist and chiropractor in Oregon. He specializes in orthopedics and natural health to address chronic degenerative diseases. He combines a holistic approach to wellness by including nutrition, diet, and lifestyle changes in the delivery of healthcare. He is actively teaching classes in natural health, nutrition, diet, and lifestyle changes in the community. He is a frequently invited guest speaker on natural health in the West Coast. He also speaks in live online meetings in the Midwest and East Coast.
He completed his undergraduate degree from Union College in Lincoln, NE with a BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology) in 1987. He has 5 years of clinical hospital laboratory experience in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood bank. He also completed his BS degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions in 1990. He then went on to complete his orthopedic manual therapy residency (MOMT) in 1995 at the Ola Grimsby Institute in San Diego, CA. He became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 1997. He continued his postgraduate studies in primary care and spinal manipulation by studying chiropractic. He completed the Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2001. He also completed his post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2009.

In May 2011, Dr. Donato completed Module 1: The Gerson Therapy Practitioner Training Program for Licensed Professionals at the Gerson Institute in San Diego, CA. He also went on the Gerson Clinic Tour in Tijuana, Mexico following the program.

Dr. Donato is currently training in Module 2 under supervision of an experienced Gerson Therapy physician.
Dr. Donato's continuing education emphasis is on natural health and wellness, diagnostics, intervention and management of chronic degenerative diseases using nutritional, dietary and lifestyle approaches.
